Sometimes downloads performed with a web browser can be problematic and will often terminate themselves before they are completed, or hang for a long time and require manual termination. Most browsers can pick up from where they left off downloading a file, so do not delete the half-completed file from your system unless you have to, or you will need to start all over again. To select "auto complete browsing" in Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and select Use HTTP 1.1 .
